Flashback Television holds an extensive archive of some 2000+ hours of material collected since the inception of the company in 1982.

Catalogued by Flashback’s film archivist, the library contains the following material:

• Landscapes, townscapes and scenics throughout Great Britain and Ireland - ranging from the vitality of Spitalfields Market (before its refurbishment) to beautiful scenics of Glencoe and the Isle of Skye
• Historically important locations – from Dunottar Castle, the scene of Cromwell’s siege in 1651, to the First World War graves at Tyncote and the Somme
• Events of late 20th century and contemporary political importance – including Orange Marches through Belfast, the comings and goings at Downing Street (1990), and Diana’s funeral (1997)
• A large collection of garden and gardening-oriented material from the UK, USA and Japan
