DAVID EDGAR is a Director of Flashback Television and the Creative Director of the company.
His brief is to build upon Flashback’s past succeses in genres such as History, Specialist Factual and Popular Factual but also to grow our output into Factual Entertainment.
David produced Nigella's Christmas Kitchen, a 5 x 30 series for transmission on BBC 2 during the run up to Christmas 2008, and a 3 x 1 hour series for Channel 4 investigating paranormal events in history - Tony Robinson and...
He produced Flashback's first full length drama project, Beau Brummell: This Charming Man for BBC 4.
David has devised and produced many new formats for broadcasters both in the UK and abroad. In the 1990’s he created the award winning series Garden Doctors for Channel Four and went on to create Lost Gardens, Don Roaming and Fork to Fork all featuring Monty Don for Channel Four.
David also devised and produced the Nigella Bites and Forever Summer series, Biographies for A&E and D Day; The Lost Evidence, a 22 hour history format for The History Channel US.
David is currently overseeing Flashbacks new development slate for 2009/10
