The 45 minute film is a powerful observational documentary, painting an intimate portrait of the day-to-day struggle for education under occupation in the Palestinian West Bank. With unique access to the teachers and students as they start a new term full of optimism and hope, the film develops over four stress-filled weeks and culminates in a heartbreaking tragedy as the schools cope with the consequences of life under fire.
Two Schools in Nablus was directed by Tom Evans, and the Executive Producers were Taylor Downing and Ingrid Falck. It was commissioned by Al Jazeera English for 'Witness', in association with Teachers TV.
