A PICTURE OF BRISTOL

1 x 60 min. BBC.

A city with one of the most diverse cultural mixes in Britain. Roni Size sees himself, & his music, very much as a product of this landscape.

for BBC1 and BBC3

Having made his name within a diverse music culture, and winning the mercury music prize in the process, Roni Size makes no secret of the influence Bristol has played in his own life. Bristol is unique in having a population who are wedded to the city. Both Roni, who performs regularly round the world, and the residents of Bristol explore what home means. His take on Bristol is mixed. Roni still feels that Bristol is not providing the opportunities it should be to both its inhabitants and it's future generation.

This film is Roni's collage.
